Presenting 3 new dance works...
A duet delving into hustle partner dance, u go, i go transposes concepts of extension, flow, and partnership. This cinematic journey, created and performed by Savage & Samuelle, transforms the venue into the canvas, blurring the boundaries between time and space.
Created and performed by Victor Vân Tran, and featuring the sounds of Theo Parrish and Sault, celestial beast is a solo challenging stereotypes through shadow play and unique perspectives.
A duet commissioned from choreographer Deanna Peters/Mutable Subject, The Enormous Room is performed by Samuelle Auclair and Victor Vân Tran, to the music of the Chicago Underground Trio. Embued with vulnerability and liveness, this work evokes the pulse and lights of the city.
